This weekend I hit a couple big pot holes and my parking brake light started to flicker on any time I hit one. Now it is on continuously. I had to drive over 400 miles home but had no problems, gas mileage was fine and parking brake did not seem to be actually on. Parking brake works just fine.
I cleaned the little switch down by the pedal and the spring is easy to move. I also unplugged the connector and the light stayed on. I'm noticing my brake fluid seems to be getting lower slowly. Any advice?

Ad some brake fluid to your reservoir, brake light on the dash also comes on to tell you your fluid level is low.

I just saw your message, I just added some brake fluid and the light went off, thank you! This means I likely have a leak in my brake line somewhere right?

welcome!!

Not necessarily...

As the front brake pads wear... the fluid level will slowly lower as brake linings wear.

Good to know, thank you!
