Is anyone else getting sick of the BS that warranty is dolling out with prior approvals? It just seems like they are rearranging things to make it harder for us to even know if we need to get approval or not.
Today I got a claim kicked on me for a lower bumper valence. The reason? It needed prior auth even though I checked through all the parts of the list that made sense for the part in question.
Where was it? With PAINT!!!! An unpainted plastic part is in with paint. Why?!?!
I really want to throw this on the PTS discussion boards, but at the same time I highly suspect that Ford would not appreciate that and I will then get in trouble over there.
Thoughts from the other techs?
