well your kinda thread jacking here but heat rises , cool sinks . inlet is top of the core.how do I tell the in line from the out line on hose for heater core?
that’s the problem it’s not running lean. I can try to re-cinch the sensor down. they are both new, and it wasn’t popping a code until i swapped the harness. bank 2 is driver side correct ? thought maybe it’s the iacv , but i would have thought that would be affecting both sides. That is a lean code. Look for vacuum leaks. You could try the O2 sensor also. In cylinder bank 2
no knock , no ping , smell. no over heating . It’s fine , mark as solved , found the issue . bad wire . no codes . at least for now .How do you know it's not running lean? But that is always the question; Is the O2 sensor working and the engine is running lean, or is the O2 sensor lying?
Whatever side cylinder #1 is located, that is bank 1. Cylinder 1 on the 4.0 is on the pass side of the truck. So yes, bank 2 would be on the driver's side.
