CEL ==> P0756 Shift Solenoid "B" Performance or Stuck Off
I got this same code few weeks ago, but cleared it. Today CEL is on, again. Yikes! It seems to drive OK.
Is it serious? What would happen if I ignored this P0756 for a while?
What's the real fix? I presume I'll have to replace some TX solenoid(s) in the 5R55E valve body? Dunno which one(s) yet. Is it good idea to replace them all, or just one of 'em? Is that expensive?
Or could it be something else? TX fluid was changed this past summer, but not TX filter. I haven't yet looked at the TX wiring to see if it's just dirty connections (very unlikely) or rusty connections (possibly from age).
