iv e been getting this code and reading it about it. most point to dpfe sensor.
most of the posts i see here and else where complain about the code but i dont see too much driveability. how can this cause driveablity problems (which I have) i have loss of power, poor mileage high idle (1400 or so) all is smooth above 250o rpm evr solenoid checks out ok egr valve check out, i can make it stumble by vacuuming the nipple, dpfe shows .6 volts

any ideas?

thanks,

all of your driveability problems can be caused by a failing EGR system.

your EGR tube/ports are probably in need of cleaning. the system gets plugged up with carbon over time and it cannot supply sufficient exhaust gasses to the cylinders. cleaning is no fun...coat hangers and small wire brushes...
