Hi all! I'm converting my 1990 2.3L XLT to an electric fan setup. I have the relays and harness, and am looking for opinions and advice as to where I should tap in for the accessory wire to the relay.
The main fan power is standalone and fused, capable of 40 amps. I just need a small source for 12V and 1 amp or so that is keyed.
It needs to be on when the truck is running, but off when it isn't, similar to a radio.
I'm hoping that there's an unused or under used junction in the Power Distribution Box under-hood.
That would save me the hassle of running one wire from the relay through the firewall. Thanks for any and all suggestions!
