I don't know if we have any members living in or around Moore but I'm hoping we don't or that they are all safe. Lived in Oklahoma my entire life and have never seen anything like this. The way it went from nothing to massive, it just can't be described. Keep Moore in your prayers.

I'm in Shawnee and the one yesterday went north of town. So far I know 3 people in Moore that have lost their homes but thankful they and their families are unharmed!! It was just devistating!!

I watched it build while i was in the field working. I was just west of Thomas.
I called my wife and told her to keep an eye on tv to see if anything was happining around S OKC.
Less than 1hr later, 'naders everywhere!!!

My Grandaughter is in moore ok. Shes fine, but her dads car/house are ruined.
They hid under the sink in the kitchen.

Here is the video of their house on FB.

Definitely saying a few prayers for those affected...I was watching the coverage last night on the news and was just astonished at the devastation...this one is going to take a huge community to pull through...and a few miracles...

My fiance lives in Norman and was in the clear.

A lady from my office lives in Moore and her roof was all tore up. She might of lost her dogs.

Our hearts go out to everyone that has been killed or injured. All the people and animals that have been displaced is so horrable. It is so devastating to these people who have gone through all of this. We made a huge donation to Red Cross about an hour ago and hope others do as well.

Woodward (where i live) is just now "looking normal". Its hard to see where the tornado went through last year.
Most of the houses are fixed or rebuilt, and now there are rent houses open again. We had familys living in hotels for a long time!

It sucks, but thats part of living in "No Mans Land".

Prayers to the families....that was terrible.

Condolences to anyone affected.....It's terrible. I'm glad to see some of the members here are OK.

LearjetMinako reporting in. The tornado has missed my house by a 1/4 mile. Most of my utilities are back up and running expect internet. Will be back online soon.

Glad you made it safe. Did your home suffer any damage?

...Good to hear from you....

I saw on the web how an older couple survived in their 3 week old storm-bunker....looks like it paid for itself the first time they used it!

One of the local TV stations there had a copter up shooting video from a distance. It's real hard to watch cause you can't tell the scale/size of it until it approaches Moore city limits...then you get an ideal of how big that sukker was, then it goes from white/gray to brown and you see folks' homes, businesses, etc. exploding and flying apart. Makes your stomach turn knowing people were under that...couldn't watch the whole video, too hard to take...especially if you've ever lived in T-nado alley and had to run or hide from one.

Okay, my internet just came back and so forth comes the photos. This is what it looks like along SE 4th by the Vertern Memorial Park. Three photos are of just the wooden carved soliders that survived the tornado. I wasn't home at the time when the tornado went by my place, was at Tinker AFB on lock down. I got pretty lucky, if the tornado would have kept going straight or made a few degrees North bearing, it would have been my place to get destoyed. But it turned South and followed SE 4 th most of the way to Sooner Rd.
