Just bought a 1990 Ford Ranger 2.3 4X4. Previous owner had oil overfilled. Truck didn't come with manual, and I can't seem to find the oil Drain plug, only the transmission drain and fill. Can anyone help me out. Thanks!

In the bottom of the oil pan...

usually a 15 or 16 mm I beleive. aluminum pan, steel plug. if its really caked over with dirt, a magnet would help locate but its pretty easy to spot.

yeah, it's pointing straight down, it's the lowest thing on the oil pan

Do I really need to say it?

not determined? lol

The drain plug is in North Dakota? That's inconvenient.

It doesn’t exist because North Dakota doesn’t exist?
