My Connector melted where the O2 sensor wires connect... I just bought a NEW o2 sensor.. Question is... Can i buy a pigtail for the other end of the o2 sensor where they come down from top of the engine and just splice THOSE wires together?

Thanks!
Chaz.

Not sure of you can buy the pigtail or not but don't splice the wires.... go to a JY and see if you can find one if all else fails.

Good ol' Rockauto to the rescue! I found them on Rockauto.com for you.

I went to rockauto and looked up your truck (86 B2 2.9) and in the search box, I typed in "oxygen sensor connector"

or

Google one of these two:

STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS Part # S677
AIRTEX / WELLS Part # 1P1283

Thanks Guys!!! Got one on order!!! SO im asuming i can SPLICE The pigtail wires together. Correct?

CHaz.

It'll come with somekind of instruction (at least the ones I've bought have). Just cut one wire at a time. Cut, crimp or solder, repeat :)
