Not heating up

I have a 93 ranger 3.0 and it doesn't seem to be heating up as good as it should. It take 3-5 miles (5-8 minutes) to get up to temp, and still doesn't get all the way up to temp. Here is the hottest it gets.

O yea new 195 degree thermostat, and the coolant looks a lottle dirty.

it may be heating up and that you just need a new sending unit, or possibly your VR is a little screwy. The only accurate way to measure your temp. is with a mechanical gauge.
