I have a 1993 Ranger XLT 4.0l with an A4LD in it. When I go to kick in passing gear it gains slowly and then check engine light comes on.
When I stop it either it opens up to a wide opèn throttle or doesn't want to start right away again. I suspect either the air intake solenoid or the idle air is acting up. When I drive normally after this everything is fine until I go to use passing gear again then I have same problem again . Any ideas? ThankYou.
