Quick question for ya, I wanted to take the bronco out and finally drive the thing but I noticed I do not have tail lights or brake lights. I pulled the harness from the driver's fender back to the rear of the truck..no broken wires. I also noticed that I hear a click when I press the pedal or manually actuate the switch on the pedal, the same click that I hear when I click on my hazards. I traced the sound down to what I believe is a proportioning valve on the driver's side frame, right after the fuel filter. I haven't driven this truck for months due to all the engine work I have been doing, but I do not remember that valve or whatever it is clicking when I actuated the switch. I have 12v at the pedal switch and like half a volt back at the bulb sockets. I do have hazards in the front and my headlights work just fine. All fuses seem to be fine as well.

Update-when I click my turn signal to the left, the relay in the fuse panel clicks on and off etc, when I turn the signal to the left, that valve in the frame starts clicking. Very confusing

Sounds like you got a bad turn signal switch.

Youre the one with the bricknose fullsize right?

Not a hard job to change.

Nope 89 bronco ii. Well I did find the issue kinda. I had replaced my wiring harness a while back and I kept having wiring gremlins so just for kicks I threw the old on back in, and boom everything started working again. Don’t know why but for now fingers crossed. But my first thought was the switch too, no clue why the old OEM harness worked but it did
