Newer rear bumper on Gen 2 Ranger what will fit?

Will the rear bumper from a newer Ranger fit on my 92 Ranger? I know where i can get a bumper from a 2001 for a decent price wasn wondering if it will fit before I shell out the cash to buy it.

anything will fit if u have sawzawl and a welder but u can go to autoanything andenter ur year and model and it will tell u what will fit

According to FEY Bumper it will. The mounting kit for their universal mini truck bumpers is the same for '83-'11. Plus the few trailer hitches that I've seached list the same part# for them as well.

However the only difference between the 1st/2nd Gens and the 3rd+Gens is the box sides so you may have some fitment issues there, but where it bolts to the frame is supposed to be the same (other than the front suspension, Ranger frames haven't really changed in their almost 30yrs).

I can't guarantee that it will be a direct fit, so if you are willing to do some adjustments, it should fit with no more than a few minor tweaks.
