Hey guys, I was wondering if it would be possible to replace my 96' ranger grille with.. say a 2000. I would also have to replace the hood as well I would imagine because the type of grille rises.

Would I have to do anything else to the lights, becasue they are also different. If you think this is at all possible please let me know because i dont like the way the 96's are so flat. Thank you.

you would need:
-98-00 light, grille, hood, fenders, and header panel iirc

pretty much a whole new front end

yeah what Danger said.
but once u get a 98+ header panel and hood u can use 98-00 lightsn grille or 01-03 lights and grille or go bigger and get a 04+ hood.

Gonna have to swap the radiator core support which requires drilling/cutting out the spot welds, and tack welding the new one one. That's what pretty much kills most folks idea of 98+ swapping their Gen3.

Everything DangerRanger~91 said is correct, but i'll add that you need to choose the gen front end your after(98-00, 01-03, 05-current) and make sure the parts are cooresponding with eachother(ie: 01-03 grille, 01-03 header panel, 98+ fenders, 01+ heads and corners, etc). '04+ requires a different hood than 98-03.
