Newbie looking for clairification

I'm a new guy on here, and I recently got a 94' STX Ranger for the time I'm rebuilding my 7.3l IDI, and I already have a few questions.

For starters, the truck is a RCLB STX. I was surprised to see it came with 265/75R15's from the factory. Are the STX's taller then the average ranger? I know I could clear 31/10.5R15's no problem, but what about maybe 32's or 33's? I'm looking to get a 2in coil spring spacer set from 4WheelParts at some point. I know the biggest I can go stock is 31's, but it seems as though mine is a taller stock then stock? Maybe someone has info on the STX line of rangers?

265/75R15 (essentially a 31x10.50R15) was an optional size tire for all longbed & Supercab 4x4 models starting in 1993 (I had them on my '94 XLT also). The STX of these years doesn't sit higher than a XLT or XL model, however I have noticed some Reg Cab trucks do sit a little taller up front than Supercabs do.
32x11.50R15s should fit on the stock wheels, as should a 33x10.50R15. Under some conditions (contorting the suspension offroad, etc.) they could still rub slightly, but not enough to damage things (and shouldn't rub at all if you have a small lift on it).

Back around 1987 there was a "Highrider" option available for STX models (1.5-2" factory lift), but that option was eliminated after 1989 I believe (it definitely did not exist for the '93 & up models).

Hey IDIGUY, are you over on FTE? I used to have a '94 F250 IDI Turbo, loved that truck but had to sell it about 3 years ago. I'm on FTE (as ghunt) but don't post there much anymore, used to be really active in the IDI section when I had my F250 though.
