Howdy - just picked up a 1991 Ford Ranger XLT 4.0L V6. My question is so trivial, it seems absurd. I want to replace the pedal covers and can't figure out how to remove the one on the gas pedal. The brake was a simple rubber slip-on deal. The gas pedal cap seems to have a pin that serves as the hinge so it can flex a bit, but I just can't get it off. Any help is appreciated...

Welcome to the club. Check LMC for a replacement pedal, I'm fairly certain they carry one for your truck.
