Hey yall, decided I would make an account and join in on the fun. Picked up a 1993 4x4 ford ranger splash 4.0l 5, speed summer of 2020. I am planning on v8 swapping, unsure between a 302 and 351, along with plenty more just to make her even cooler.

Welcome. I’m a purest, sort of, putting a 97 4.0 2wd and 87 2.9 4wd in original running condition before I do crazy stuff with them.

Welcome to TRS. The easier of the two is the 302 out of an early mustang, you'll also need the transmission thats bolted to the engine. There are companies that offer all the other parts needed to do the swap. Its not an inexpensive project though !
