Went and looked at this truck today, guy really wanting to sell it. drive alright spins tires varlyeasy was completly covered in mud when i drove it. back window behind driver seat needs replaced interior was dirty, shifts ok didn't have any problems except when i was driving back to house i couldn't find third gear. speedo is off by like 5 to 10 mph so i think motor was swaped in is this fixable? motor does have a lifter tap didn't notice the wrist pin knock, but he said i won't notice until warmed up. bed needs replaced front bumper needs weld, fame in good shap exept rear driver cab mount, its a STX. let me know what you think, he said he'll take $450 if i buy it today.

thanks guys, but i went back to test drive again this time i had him start it up ahead of time so it was warmed up, it sounded worse when i got there. i push it hard this time when in high revs and push clutch in tranny makes a real lound gear noise. and motor knocks really loud too, still has plony of power i was suprized at how fast it could accelerate, I've never driven a 4.0 before. it needs a lot of work to before it wold be reliable enogh to be a DD which is what i'm looking for, and i really don't have money to just blow it would be a fun toy/ project if i already had a DD. he really wants it to go he was willing to trow in a set of 35" superswampers with it but i just couldn't do it.
