Slave cylinder is inside the bell housing not hard to do but if you change the slave you need to change the clutch master cylinder too
 
Slave cylinder in is in the bellhousing, so you will need to pull the tranny.

You don't have to replace the master, unless it is bad as well.
 
Typically the master will go out if you put in a new slave cause the pressure change will usually cause it to blow out
