Needed a mini truck to do real work with-out breaking the bank. My neighbor tried to give me a '99 B3000 (I covered his costs minus a propane grill in trade) and then found a 2007 4.0 which I'm pretty sure I need to do a ton of work on (including the timing chains.) Been having a grand ol' time reading up on the forums.
Fun side note: I'm a SCADA admin so RS-232 and the like is not new to me. I think this project might be a fun way to learn CAN BUS (I'm lucky I ended up with a vehicle that has such a great resource as FORScan.)
Nice to meet y'all and hopefully I'll be able to lend a hand as able.
