I just picked up my 2011 Ranger. I've wanted one for quite a while and the incentives on them are just too nice right now. And since it looks like it's going to be the last model year, the time was right.

I'll have some standard newbie questions, but other than that I'll just be on here to hang out. I've been looking for the answer to this one, but I haven't see anything specifically on it that includes the rancho stuff. I have an XLT model with the Rancho Suspension, so does that mean that I can clear the Sport model sized tires? I'd like to put some Mickey Thompson ATZ 31x10.50x15 on it with some 4.5" backspaced wheels, but I wanted to make sure everything would clearance up nicely with my model year and suspension.

The tires official size is 30.8" tall and 10.5" wide according to my tire store.

Thanks guys, and I look forward to lots of q/a and bs-ing.

Welcome to the addiction, I take it you got the FX4 package? I believe 31x10.50 might fit. 4.5" backspace is perfect. Have any pics of your truck?

Nope, it's just an XLT with the upgraded "tow package" suspension, which was produced by Rancho.

As far as modifications go, if I leave it stock I have a 100k mile maintenance agreement. So the dealer covers everything including oil changes and wiper blades in that time. So this truck won't be going anywhere. I have however tinted the back windows, and I'll be doing a roll in bedliner, probably later this week. So some asthetic stuff, and that's going to pretty much be it.

Sexy. Welcome to the forums!
