Hi folks,

I've been lurking around, gathering information etc. for quite a while. In fact I signed up as a member quite a while back, but still just lurked in the shadows until now haha.

I had (well, still have, but I'm gettin out of it) an '89 BII. My introduction to RBVs, and I was hooked. Had a lot of fun in that little truck. Now it's in need of work (slave cylinder went out) and that happened in the midst of my recovery from a severe motorcycle accident. So, I parked the old BII. Fast forward a few months, and insurance came through with a pretty hefty cheque for me, and we also got a dog. I was exited to grab mountain bikes, and head out for a good rip with the dog on trails.... But as anyone who's packed a BII can tell you, 2 people, 2 bikes, and a shepherd/lab are not gonna sit comfortably in a BII! So with that, I went looking for a ranger, and settled on a '93 supercab 4x4, 3.0L 5-speed.

Well that's me.... Good to be here!

i'm in a better part of alberta, but still shitty

Welcome fellow Canadian...I'm in Ontario...but my Mother was born in Manitoba so I'm almost a mid-westerner...

If you think packing a BII is fun, try a Zuki Sidekick...I drove one for six years and when I finally put my Ranger on the road I found I had way more space than two Zukes...

Anyway, sounds like you got a nice truck...did anyone ask for pics yet??? That's the rule...we have to ask for pics...although I don't think I've ever posted one of my entire truck...just the parts I've been working on...

axle of alberta? whatchu talkin bout willis?

i'm in calgary... you knew that! i'm here with K.Strong, and just north of Master.Hec0 who is in okotoks

To DBD; sorry for the threadjack, but that happens sometimes. All in good fun.
And yes, pics are in order.

To weezl; Seems like you don't know an axle from a hole in the ground!!!

JK; Just yanking your chain, in reference to the shitty part of alberta.

Richard

yeah, still lost... lol

dbd, thread jacking, be it intentional or accidental, is something you'll get used to on here, it's about the worst thing that will happen to a contributing member (of which i hope you become)

if you're a non contributing member (by contributing, i mean someone who brings something to the table, not specifically someone who donates to the site) well, lets just say they aren't liked very much...

cough at the same time that you say axle..... seems to happen a lot around me, and probably in reference to me.lol
