I have a 86 ranger with DJM 3/4 drop kit and i got a 92 ranger. I know that the ball joint's are different from 86 to 92. Would the beam still work?

The part numbers are different on DJM beams from GEN1 to GEN2. Not sure if GEN1 would fit or not.... I would think the beams would work just use Gen 1 Spindles??...

Olskool, you can use either DJM beam just so long as you get the right spindles for that year of beam. I have a '94 ranger that I installed an '83-'88 set of DJM beams on. I have a few junker '85 rangers that I stole the spindles from and it all worked fine.
Though, if you get a set of spindles off of a '95+ ranger you're going to have to take the calipers with you. They're a dual piston setup and bolt on instead of using the sliding split pins.
