Need info on Superchips and KnN filter

I have a 3.0 v6 146,000 miles on it runs pretty strong still. But want more power out of it obviously.

Been reading up on Superchips and KnN filters to throw on it.

With an all stock enigine putting those two things on it will I see problems later on or is there more parts I need to put on to make sure the advanced parts arent gonna blow it up?

If your going for more power I wouldn't waste your money. Very minimal power increase the price.

If you are going to bigger tires then I would say buy the superchips as IIRC it can fix your speedo. Otherwise Save your money.

I bought A super chips strictly cause my tire sizen changed. Turns out it was more useful than that. No idea how much HP it actually adds, probably only 5-10. But the thing I like best is the firmer shift points makes it feel so much better.

The K&N filter, if you need a new filter anyways, sure get the K&N drop in replacement. It's reusable with a lifetime warranty. You will never had to buy another filter again.

I'd say it's totally worth the money.
