Hey guys,
Got the dreaded battery light on my 2004 Mazda B4000 and managed to make it to the nearest town on battery power.. Took a week to get a new alternator in and just installed it to no avail. Still not getting any charging action.
Are there any fuses or fusible links that are hiding somewhere that I can possibly replace or check? My owners manual does not show any fuses in either box for the charging system or voltage regulator.
PS... I just spent over $300 on the alternator and shipping and gave my old one back as a core.
EDIT: The Harness that plugs into the voltage regulator does have voltage on two pins. When testing the B- terminal and the Alternator stud wit a multimeter I get 4.36V :S Also checked continuity between stud on alternator and battery + terminal and it was good.
