Ok feel a little stupid on this one, I need to replace the (hose) between the plenum and PCV valve but don't know what it's called. I called Ford and explained it to them and they want like $70 but It's hard to find aftermarket when you don't know what your looking for. Any help would be great 02 Ranger 3.0 Flex

Just take it into Autozone and they can cut you a piece the same diameter. It won't be molded, but at less than a $1 a foot you can really complain.

Buy the hose from the parts store by the foot. It's just a breather tube, there's not a lot of vacuum so it won't collapse itself. I use 1/2 ID heater hose when I did my body lift.
If anything, find a long coil spring that's 1/2" od and slip it inside the hose. They do this with universal radiator hoses.

Au contraire, it will collapse, especially when it's hot. There is a lot of vacuum in the hose from the PCV to the intake, if that's the hose he means.

You can buy PVC fittings (45 -90) for any turns you need to make. I cant believe Ford wants $70 for that piece of crap hose that gets hard and brittle, and quickly breaks.
