Need help asap

So I just got my truck running and moving and was going through some trial and error fixing vacuum leaks and the sorts and I was working on flushing the coolant system cuz it was getting hot quick and I noticed water was shooting out of my first cylinder and the oil was milky, the water was only shooting out of the first cylinder so I think it’s the worst there I took the head off and the gasket was perfect no cracks in the head or block I’m thinking it was the lower intake manifold gasket because I think one of the bolts may have been missing on the front passenger side which is right where the coolant passage for the first cylinder is does this sound right or do y’all think it could be something else

How do you know the heads did not have any cracks? You took them to a shop and they checked them?

The gasket leaking between the intake and the head would definitely cause water in the oil, but not sure how it could get into the cylinder?

I can’t 100 percent say there’s no cracks it’s just from looking at the coolant passages the best I can and inspecting the head and the way I think it would get in is by being pulled into the intake

Also only the oil is dirty there’s no oil in the water only water in the oil

Take the heads to a shop and have them magnafluxed.

Then you know for sure.

Dont run the truck with milky oil unless you want to end up rebuilding the bottom end too.

I assume by shooting out you mean it was physically geysering out where the manifold meets the head? If thats the case then the manifold is pry warped too.

Take it to a machine shop as well.

It has no exhaust on it right now so it was just shooting out the exhaust port

I accidentally found the crack in my 2.9 head. I was cleaning them up with brake cleaner after I had pulled the engine to replace the freeze plugs. The brake cleaner turned the black oily surface in the casting a light brown after it dried. But I noticed after a period of time, on top of the head around the valve spring area a mysterious black line appeared. So I used brake cleaner and it went away, but later it came back again. That ended up being a crack, I guess after I cleaned it with brake cleaner, oil would weep up out of the crack.
