Hey guys, I need to find somewhere underhood that's only on when the ignition's on. Where should I tap? I need it to switch the ground on my Maradyne Fan controller so that it cannot stay on after I turn off the engine.

Thanks,
Ghost

me, personally, id wire a switch to it and mount it to the dash. as for wires that are only hot when the ignition is on, there are a few of them, but i wouldnt reccomend using any wire that has anything to do with ignition timing, fuel, sensors, etc; as it may cause an unwanted drop in voltage to some vital components. look into a haynes or chiltons manual for wiring diagrams and find something that could work.

Where's the starter relay?

What I ended up doing was popping open the power distribution box and using the empty LH terminal with a spade-connector for the A/C WOT relay, because I don't have A/C and it is an ignition-hot source.

I didn't want to use a switch because I've done that before and forgotten to switch it on a few times. Now there's no chance of forgetting.
