I have a 1991 Ford Ranger 2wd. I need an intermediate steering shaft (for a tilt column--Ford says this makes a difference). This is the shaft that runs from the bottom of the column to the steering box (not a rack and pinion).

The Ford part # is F2TZ-3B676-D.

I did a nationwide search at a couple of Ford dealers and there are NO new ones anywhere in the Ford dealer network.

I'd like NOS but a good used one would be nice. Anybody know were I can get one??

Haha, those have been out of production and stock for years. Your best bet to find a new one is either aftermarket or some old guy's garage shelf.

Thank you, Adsmo8, for the quick reply. Maybe someone who reads this has one to sell or can give a recomendation for an aftermarket company that makes a good replacement.

mine was loose and causing play in the steering. I messed with idea to try and tighten things up. ended up just smashing it a lil made it better.... the redneck in me came out!
