I picked up an 86 Ranger at the beginning of October to rebuild for my daughter. It is a regular cab with a flat bed and a 2.9 auto. I just got the cab painted yesterday and it didn't turn out too bad. I need to clean up the flat bed now and will paint it with that bed liner stuff before making a stake bed for it. I got rid of the bench seats and found a pair of buckets out of an 04 Ranger so I don't have to worry about her friend kicking the shifters. I would post pics, but haven't figured out how to do that so if anyone can tell me what to do, I will gladly post them.

Hey rockin, I just emailed some pics to you and thanks for posting. It is now black and if they have practice, my daughter will be hangin out with a bunch of wrestlers since she is the manager. So if you are out of high school, I'm glad you are just kidding. :agree:

lol i am actually a senior this year but i think its awesome you are fixing up a truck for your daughter and really awesome that your daughter is willing to drive a truck.

heres your pics

this thing is going to be awesome when its done

Welcome Pastor Bubba! Truck is looking good! Wouldn't she rather have a regular bed though? The flat bed is cool and all but after all she is a girl...

hey i wish i could find a girl that would drive a flatbed you are killing a dying breed, back-off. lol j/k.

I really can't wait to see it all finished

Could always put a mat down and ropes instead of wood... portable Wrestling on wheels. that would be fun!

Technically, she doesn't know that it has a flatbed and one of her friends saw it and told her that it didn't have anything on the back so she is a little concerned about that. Besides, I told her that if she doesn't like it, she can continue to drive the Escort wagon. She already decided on the truck.

Tried posting more pics, but didn't show up in the preview so will work on it again in a little since my daughter is now in the room.

Hey pastor bubba, welcome.

For displaying images you will have to host them through another site such as photobucket. After uploading the photos there, you can copy the image code and paste it in the quick reply or advanced reply. I( kow there is a write up, let me see if I can get to it before one of the other truck homers beats me to it.

Sorry if this doesn't work but there should be a pic of a ranger

I copied the img code after uploading the pic to photobucket and pasted it in the text. The pic didn't show up so i don't know what I did wrong.

I don't think you can paste it in the text.. click on the square icon with the mountain and paste it in that field...

One of the 4 showed up and I copied and pasted them all the same way. Can you only post one pic at a time? But hey, I'm making progress! :yahoo:

Unless file size matters you can post more than one...
