Motor mounts

Have a question regarding motor mounts on the Vulcan. My sport trim apparently has the 4WD mounts (offset top studs) instead of in-line studs which the 2WD mounts I got from O'Reilly's has. Does anyone know if these styles are interchangeable or do I need to get the 4WD mounts?

Am I over simplifying this? It will not line up with the incorrect mounts will it?

It's probably because the frame crossmember is different between rwd andv4x4 trucks. Probably not interchangeable. But I haven't personally played with them.
