i have a 94 ranger 4.0 when i go to give it gas the truck lags and then it will slowly pick back up. I took my throttle body off and cleaned it and also cleaned my mass air flow sensor and my o2 sensor as well. its stop doing the lagging thing for a bit but the problem came back I don't know what else it could be if anyone has any suggestions that would be great thanks.

Did you reset the computer after cleaning?

no i never did that how do you go about reseting the computer
and the spark plugs are pretty new

not plugs

When it spits and sputters, that'll be a sign of needing plugs.. If it don't do that then the plugs are Ok.
Sounds like a timing issue to me. Sounds way retarded. Pull the spout and check the timing with it out.
