I saw the moon awhile ago too. Looked just like that, amazing. Then when we got home awhile ago, it was a lot higher in the sky and looked much smaller. great photo. :icon_thumby:
 
Is it really made of greene cheese?

great detail in that shot...how much zoom is that?

That was using my 70 200mm f/2.8 VR lens @ 200mm.........with the 1.5X DX sensor multiplication factor, it would be equivalent to a 300mm lens with a FX
sensor, or 35mm film.
 
you know NASA says that the dark spots are dried up ocean beds!! Awsome pic!
