I was looking at Car-Part.com for a motor for my 99 Ranger. I was looking at 3.0 FFV's. I saw that a few Said MFI and other said EFI...what is the diffrence and how do i tell.
Thanks

Same thing, just a different way of saying it.
There is no point in adding it as all 3.0 fords are EFI of the MPI variety.

Yeah, TBI units are rare as hen's teeth these days.

Virtually all fuel injection is multiport, now.

It was different in 1986.

Thanks guys
One more question. Why does Car-Part.com have 3.0 motors with 2 dates????
Thanks again
Beef
