Manual shifter rebuild kit

Ninja’d by a hour and a half?
Dunno what happened there. I had my response typed and clicked post when it notified me of new posts...

The FM132 was not an option in 89. It was the 2wd transmission from the FM series for 85-87. In 88 it was discontinued and all the 2wd MT Rangers got M5ODs. If you have a 4x4 MT Ranger from 88-92 the transmission is an FM146. A select few early 90s 4x4 Rangers with 2.9s got M5ODs. All 4.0 manuals were M5ODs, but they have the 3-bolt shifter boot. Your tower and shifter are an FM series, which means FM146. Also means GFL finding repair parts.
