Magnaflow - Noticeable Difference?

Hi there,

I'm thinking of replacing the stock muffler on my '08 4.0L. I've poked around youtube, watching different exhaust clips. Some sound better than others. What I'm wondering though, is there a real difference from stock to other? I'm looking for a throaty sound, which doesn't seem to carry well on youtube.

Any thoughts?

I would go with a Flowmaster 40 the seem to have a pretty deep rumble but you need to get the original one not the delta flow...

I have a Magnaflow universal strait through muffler in SS. It's a very, very good muffler. It's been on for almost 4 years (2 on a Ford Probe GT and 2 on my Ranger).

All I did was measure it out and cut the old muffler off and weld the Magnaflow in. On the probe I used adapters that match the OD and ID of the pipes and used muffler clamps incase I ever needed to remove the muffler...Both ways work great but I'd reccomend welding.

It has a very nice deep tone. No rasp at all.
