Good afternoon one and all Ranger fans,
I have an issue here as recently I picked up an M5OD-R1HD out of an 06 for my 94 Danger Ranger project. I have an issue with the output shaft to which I need to replace it. Now my Ranger is a 94 and it had the standard R1 so I am not sure about an issue with the HD. The HD output shaft has a sensor on it, in the tailshaft housing, which my Ranger does not require. So my question here is do I require a different output shaft for Mr. HD or can I simply replace it with a standard R1 shaft with no sensor on it and use my original tailshaft housing on the new HD??? Any info would be greatly appreciated as always !! Thanks
