i found an explorer with a 4.0 and a 5spd with 4wd. so its def a m50d. not sure the year of the ploder but its at least 97. the question i have is can i use the tranny and transfercase on my 2.9 bII? i know the tranny bolts up, and i have that end pretty solid, but if i can use my 2.9 manual transfer case instead of the m50d electric one i'd be happy.

what are my options here? also do i use my stock driveshaft for my 2.9 or do i need to pick up the one outta the 4.0?

The manual 1350 in your b2 and the electric 1354 both bolt up to the transmission.

You may have issues with the tcase shifter but it is nothing that you wont be able to sort out on your own.

If you keep the manual Tcase out of your B2, you will be able to use the drive shafts. They may need to be adjusted for length depending on what tranny your swapping from however.
