I built a lumber rack for our SuperCab bed. It interlocks together and has a bunch of strap down hooks to hold the lumber. Makes hauling stuff securely a breeze.

I like it! But...

I prefer natural... thus the collar matches the cuffs :derisive:

the new Ranger isn't 48" between wheel housings?

I did something similar in my 2011 but put down plywood down on the top of the frame. The section between the wheel wells and the aft section are hinged to allow for storage underneath. It works but the basic design needs tweaking. I'm thinking drawers when i do it so that I can access those stored items with a load of whatever in the bed. Right now, if I don't get them out before hand, I can't get at them without unloading the bed.

Made a storage space to hang the lumber rack components. Takes up no floor space and it's located right by the garage door.

1100 lbs of lumber, each load... didn't even notice it was back there.

And my lumber rack made it easy to load, strap down, and unload.

That worked out pretty good...

Side note... I would rather pull my finger nails off with rusty pliers then mud and tape dry wall.

I like it. I did something sort of similar for my 1999 Toyota Tacoma to hold the sand bags from sliding around during winter driving.

I like your good idea. I just needed two bags for the Toyota but for the Ranger probably 4 is a good. Thanks,
