got a 90 ranger with a 2.3 with no a/c,when i turn on the heater it only gets luke warm, checked the heater core to see if it was clogged by flushing a garden hose through it,it flows just fine, the blend door seems to be working,im stumped?

how long does it take to get luke warm? check tstat

good antifreeze?

any temp sensors?

had this problem in a blazer, went nuts trying to find it. i changed everything, then i got the idea to look in the hard line that came onn the intake manifold, and what did i see? massive clump of God knows what obstructing over half the hole. i was only getting a trickle of water into the h/c.

well, the thermostat is there and working, both heater hoses are getting warm, think ill check the blend door valve if i can find it,maybe the blend dooor isnt opening all the way, also ill check the in.manifold hard line
