I have a 1995 5-Speed 3.0L 2WD Ranger. So, I was working on my exhaust today and I saw this:
I can see my pressure plate from outside of my trans! D: I'm assuming it shouldn't be like that? What's missing? The trans doesn't really shift right. I have to wait a couple seconds before I can get into each gear. Any idea what could be causing that? The previous owner did a lot of stupid things to this truck, and one of them was installing a stage 3 clutch. Could my issue with shifting be related to a botched clutch install?
And I noticed this under my shifter boot:
Am I missing a nut on one side? That would explain why my shifter feels loose...
Thanks for any help guys.
