Somewhere in my travels, I saw a break down of all the different changes that were made to the 4 liter V6. Looking for this info in case I need to change out an engine in a 98 mazda B4000 I just bought.
Seems to me there were not a lot oc changes, but changes to heads and acc mounting to could be an issue I think. I do not know if for instance a 92 4 liter 6 will bolt in place of the 98, or not.
I already know intakes are different, that's not an issue. Just alt, tensioner pulls, a/c etc and exhaust manifolds will bolt up to the basic block and heads
