Looking for ideas or suggestions

Ok so my bed is currently off my truck due to needing to patch some rust holes, was wondering If anyone had any ideas and/or suggestions of any mods I can do while I have the bed off.

2005 Ranger FX4 level 2 with a 3 in body lift

1)under coat the bed for better protection
2)If you use your truck to haul alot weld in stiffen brackets where cross beams meet the floor.
3) If you paln to have a canopy weld a strip of metal with a nut welded to the strip under the bed rail for a better clamping set up in 3 places per side.
4) If your planning a tool box same as above
5)If your planning a roolbar set up fabricate brackets thta can be welded or bolted to frame & then come in contact to bottom of bed where roll bar will be bolted to,this way your rollbar is actually part of the frame of your truck.

If you have any CB/10-meter radio gear in your truck, now would be a great time to put some radio suppression caps on the fuel pump wires where they come out of the tank to reduce it's interference.
If no radio gear, then you can disregard.
