Looking for Camping Shell & Sleeping Platform fabrication options (805)

Hi

I am a new Ranger owner and am in the market for a camper shell AND a sleeping platform

I think I understand the options for toppers / camper shells but

Can you guys recommend an option for a sleeping platform?

Do you know of anyone in Cali (93001) that manufacture to order or are there "off the shelf" options?

Off the shelf platforms are expensive, as in a couple grand expensive. I'm sure they are nice but if you are handy, you can build your own for much less. There are plans on the internet on how to make your own as well as videos and ideas on what others have done with their trucks that you can adapt and modify. That is the route I'm going to go.
