i guess some of the last b2's made actually got the d35 as well, i suppose yours could be one of them. it would not be a hybrid, it would be a true d35. identification info is in the tech library.

I don't think the hybrid was put into production until 1993.

Yep the hybrids are a 1993-1997 Ranger thing only (4-cyl trucks, and some, but not all, 3.0L trucks).
