Hello everybody,

I'm gunna be looking at a 1990 Ranger that somebody already swapped a carbed 302 and a T5 into. Besides for the usual things to look at when considering a used vehicle what else should I be looking for with this swap? I never asked if it was a hydraulic or cable set up clutch, benefit to either? It has an 8.8 but he's unsure of the gearing, stock gears for the ranger and explorer the same? If there's any relevant threads that could answer my questions feel free to link me

Thanks Guys

Look at motor mounts, exhaust headers and wiring for sure. Also the radiator setup.

Check the radiator core support and all of the cab mounts. You'll probably be fine, but its definitely worth a look.

You could always take some pictures when you look at it and them post them on here. See it may help a lot of people point the little things out. I always snap pictures and take a second look. I always miss something and its worth a 2nd look later.
