I have a 2000 Ford Ranger 4X4 Stepside with a 3.0 and a automatic tranny. Ive been wantin to lift my truck for a while to clear 35's and im finally getting some money back left over from my student loans. Id like to get it up around 6inches of lift. Anyways im jw what i can do to clear 35s instead of spendin 2000-3000 on a suspension lift? Is there a way to combine certain torsion keys and body lifts to achieve this? Any comments as to what i can do will be greatly appreciated...I WANT MY RANGER BIGGER NOW!!!! LOL

You could do a body lift, torsion crank and fiberglass fenders and that will allow you to run 35s but your also going to need 5.13 gears in order for that 3.0 to pull those big ass rubbers

Well, what are you looking to spend? What fordboi415 said would be a good strat. If you can spend quite a bit check out Dixon Bros. Racing. They sell a long travel coil over convertion for 98~04 Ranger 4x4's. If I ever win the lotto, screw buying a truck, I'm putting that kit on my '99.

I have a '99 Ranger 4x4 Sport with pretty much maxed out torsion bars and a add-a-leafs in the rear. It's high enough to make my 245/75-16 bfg's look kinda small.

i may end up just doin a body for now with 33's and next semester get a RCD with 35s...just hate to spend 2-3000 on a suspension

245/75R16????i cranked the bars to level my 99 and put 265/75R16, the bars are nowhere near maxed and the rear is stock(for now)
