I have a 2002 Ford Ranger Edge 2WD. Other than the stock 3" body lift, I have lifted it with blocks in the rear and installed 3" torsion bar key lift and Rancho shocks in front. I have installed 35/12.50/15 tires. After installing the torsion bar key lift, I took it to the alignment shop to get it aligned. They can't align it because I need caster/camber adjustment kit. The alignment shop said I needed at least 4 degrees of adjustment. Can anybody help? Any information would be great. Please help! Thanks.

You can get 4 degree shims at auto zone. Mine was out six degrees and my alignment guy brought it down to 1 degree with 3 degree shims.

.......why doesn't your alignment shop have them?? a whole camber kit is around 50 i think maybe less. i think they have em in the parts pages here.

r1hatman: I went to the local auto zone and advance auto parts...both of them said they didn't carry anything like that and I wasn't able to find it on their websites either...could you get me a part number or something...I did find a camber adjustment kit on proryde.com but it only gives 3.25 degrees of alignment...Do you think this would work?

bcost882: My alignment shop said they didn't have anything like that...I looked on the part pages here and couldn't find any camber adjustment kits to fit my '02...can ya help?

I drive this truck everyday. It's the only vehicle I have. Right now it's just a lawn ornament cuz I can't wear out my new tires. If anybody knows how to help please let me know. Right now my truck has about 4 degrees of negative camber and the top a-arm is adjusted all the way out. It can't be aligned without some type of modification. From the research I've done. I can't go with shims cuz I haven't been able to find any for an '02. The only thing I know of from experience is I lowered my last truck, a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD, by flipping the rear leaf springs and installing blocks, and I heated the front springs until the front was even. It lowered the back about 9.5" and the front about 6". I had the same camber problem with it just MUCH worse. So I custom built new a-arm brackets myself and welded to the frame in order to give myself a new mounting point for the top a-arm and that solved all my problems. But that was much more of an extreme mod than just the key lift so I didn't know if I could buy something to fix my problem on my Ranger or if I need to fire up the welder and plasma cutter. Anybody got any information? PLEASE HELP!:icon_confused:

r1hatman: Thanks for the help but that won't work on my truck because it's an '02 and doesn't have twin i-beams so that camber bushing doesn't fit my application. Any other ideas?

Sorry bud, I'm not familiar with the newer ones. Good luck.
