Lift ?s bit confused

What coils are under your truck right now? Do you have drop brackets and stock coils? Bc that'd be dumb... Are you sure you're not already lifted 4 inches?

Measure your coils top to bottom with the weight on them...
Measure from the center of your front hub to the bottom of your fender flare.

Well the coils are actually F150 coils that are sagged to all hell as you can see in the pics. The PO swapped out F150 coils and apparently put in the drop brackets. I will take the measurements tomorrow. Its dark here.
i have been wondering for some time what the stock height is as far as hub to fender measurements and coil measurements. Do you know what they are?

It looks like you have a RC 4"lift already, as mentiond above get yourself some decent bump bump stops (so you don't put ANOTHER hole in your diff). Look for some extended radius arms and some new springs and shocks should do the trick all around.

If your going to go threw all the work to pull your D28 front axle off your best bet is replace it with a D35 out of an Explorer! There's a section in the tech library to cut your fenders ( if that's what you want to do) you should be able to clear 33" with a small trim and better springs all around.
You could get some jeep coils or some skyjacker 6"coils and you can replace your rear springs with explorer springs and beltech 6400 schackles. All the info on these upgrades are in the tech library!
Hope it helps...

Ok so I measured my coils and they were 13 3/4" with the trucks weight on them.
Front hub to fender:21" both sides
Rear hub to fender:21" both sides
So its officially sitting level right now with stock lift blocks and fked f150 coils.
What is the stock measurements?:icon_confused:

Also will I be able to run 6" coils with the 4" brackets and 3 degree bushings?

My 4" lift coils are 15.5" with the weight on there and my hub to fender is 24"

You should be able to run 6" springs with 4" brackets.. You go within 2" of your bracket.

Thanks those measurement helped me get a perspective. I thought I could run the coils with my brackets but good to have confirmation.:icon_thumby:
Im pretty sure I will have to get the aftermarket camber/caster bushings because whenever you lift more than 1 1/2-2" you have to get new ones right?
With the 4" brackets and 6" coils(probably with some washer spacers to get real 6" lift) what degree bushing do I need?
I was gonna get 3* ones but am not sure if thats what I should get.

With 4" lift coils and 4" drop brackets everything is suppose to be back stock.... Camber should be fine with stock bushings. Mine is... With 6" coils and 4" brackets it could go either way.

Ok well I guess the rest is just trial and error. When I get my coils put in I will try to align myself the best I can and if I cant get camber corrected I will buy new bushings from oreilly or autozone.
Unfortunately it might be awhile before I can do this due to crappy pay and having to fix other stuff. Once I fix my oil leak, get my 8.8 and put it in, get my brakes done, and get my new fuel strainer in and my fuel gauge working, I should be able to get my lift parts. Then on to new rims and tires new exhaust new audio system and I might get to enjoy my truck.

Anyway thanks for all your help. :icon_thumby::headbang:
