Lift from shocks at rear - driveline problems?

I'm thinking of getting some really heavy duty coil over shocks for the rear axle for when I tow my pop-up which has a really heavy tongue weight (previous owner welder window unit AC there and I can't fill the stern water tank, so 300 lbs. now). A guy I know uses them and said it raised his rear by 1.5 inches. I know the u-joint bend needs to be equal and opposite at both ends of the driveshaft. Anybody with experience in this regard know if that amount of rear-only lift will mess with the u-joint bends enough to put a strain on my driveshaft or u-joints? -thanks

Why not just get one of those leaf spring helpers that only engages when you have a load on the back?

Supplementary Air bags or air shocks would work too. I use air bags on my work truck for different load weights, keeps the truck level. Air shocks will do the same but aren't as strong, probably good for your case.

I'll research the air bags, will probably be too much surgery for me but I appreciate the suggestion.
